Filippo Di Cesare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlkan Saygılı having to interfere. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Carmine Bontempi hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Filippo Di Cesare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İlkan Saygılı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When A.S. Udinese's Eraldo Motta in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Filippo Di Cesare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İlkan Saygılı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eraldo Motta's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. İlkan Saygılı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Dossena went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. İlkan Saygılı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Motta in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Filippo Di Cesare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İlkan Saygılı. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filippo Di Cesare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Öztürk Akay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's İlkan Saygılı got control of the ball when Filippo Di Cesare tried to sneak it across the goal line. Öztürk Akay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gigi Donnarumma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Ali Numan Orbey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Gigi Donnarumma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A.S. Udinese's Ernesto Delle Donne was substituted for Emilio Dossena. In the 60th match minute, Seferihisar İdman Gücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdullah Atik to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Udinese's zone, Taci Suavi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigi Donnarumma came out of the goal and Taci Suavi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İlkan Saygılı made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Filippo Di Cesare sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Filippo Di Cesare in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's İlkan Saygılı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Seferihisar İdman Gücü from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Filippo Di Cesare got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Filippo Di Cesare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but İlkan Saygılı made a huge save. A.S. Udinese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ernesto Delle Donne in the 89th minute. Eraldo Motta had several of the Seferihisar İdman Gücü's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed İlkan Saygılı as he didn't even see the shot coming. İlkan Saygılı was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Ernesto Delle Donne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Delle Donne really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. When the final whistle went the supporters of A.S. Udinese were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Seferihisar İdman Gücü side.
