In the 8th minute Gabriel Isaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Severiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes, Isaac Grimaud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sliema Dragons FC and the TORQUE F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Grimaud. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Isaio in the 10th minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Severiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Savona was slow to take the kick. During this time Sliema Dragons FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 25th match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Grima to maneuver through the defense. TORQUE F.C.'s Julian Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mangion in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Mangion in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Eutropio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaac Grimaud was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 36 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Grimaud. If Gabriel Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sliema Dragons FC's Ryan Grima got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Julian Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Eutropio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mangion in the 70th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, TORQUE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mangion came free, but Julian Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mangion, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ryan Grima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Eutropio having to make a save. Julian Eutropio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Grima in the 79th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Ryan Grima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Eutropio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Sliema Dragons FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
