Spectators: 7855 (Terracing: 5892, Seating: 1807, VIP seats: 156) 3 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Savona came free, but Moritz Kran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Chelaru came free, but Marcelo Severiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neil Deguara got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Domingos Herena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Savona in the 13th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Moritz Kran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Severiano was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Matei Chelaru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matei Chelaru really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the last second Marcelo Severiano throw himself and got hold of the ball when Matei Chelaru in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gigel Răduța's late challenge caught a Sliema Dragons FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigel Răduța helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Răduța to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Leo Scalpello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moritz Kran skillfully saved the ball. Moritz Kran came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion. But to his dismay, Martin Mangion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Moritz Kran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mangion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Ogică's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Marcelo Severiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Hugon Debowski got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Matei Chelaru made the kick off in the second half. BVB 09's Basarab Iorgovan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelo Severiano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Moritz Kran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mangion in the 56th minute of play. The throw-in from Domingos Herena in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BVB 09's Matei Chelaru. In the 61st minute BVB 09 were awarded a corner. Emmanouil Kappos went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lucrețiu Ogică got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Severiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Matei Chelaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Desira hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Emmanouil Kappos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gigel Răduța kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Emmanouil Kappos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVB 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanouil Kappos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Severiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Caragea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BVB 09 were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Sliema Dragons FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emmanouil Kappos took the corner. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Ryan Grima got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Emmanouil Kappos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BVB 09 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
