Laurens Oosterman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Jakobe came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Arrecifes got a corner. De Pelgrims's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Gau ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Afonso Tremura managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elbert Spanjer in the 13th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Jakobes short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Laurens Oosterman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gilberto Jakobe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Jakobe in the 18th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Jakobe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laurens Oosterman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes De Pelgrims's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cesar Gau who took care of the corner kick. Arrecifes's Cesar Gau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laurens Oosterman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gilberto Jakobe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurens Oosterman having to make a save. Laurens Oosterman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Jakobe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oddbjørn Haugli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Laurens Oosterman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Gau was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrecifes's players had a chance to rest. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jouke Jacobs to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koos Keupink got free with Chiquinho Romero in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in De Pelgrims's zone, Gilberto Jakobe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurens Oosterman came out of the goal and Gilberto Jakobe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Gilberto Jakobe made a precise shot to the right of Laurens Oosterman. De Pelgrims's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of De Pelgrims:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arrecifes:s goal. The excitement rose when Arrecifes's Gilberto Jakobe after 61 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for De Pelgrims's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-0. Arrecifes's Elberg Monte was substituted for Ayi Sarumpaet. Arrecifes made a substitution. Igor Emmanuel replaced Gilberto Jakobe. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Emmanuel in the 65th minute of play. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Emmanuel in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Igor Emmanuel made a precise shot to the right of Laurens Oosterman. De Pelgrims's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Emmanuel came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jouke Jacobs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Chiquinho Romero made a huge save. When Igor Emmanuel came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Arrecifes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Emmanuel couldn't finish the play. After 79 minutes, Idrak Mahmudov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrecifes and the De Pelgrims players grew even worse after the yellow card. De Pelgrims made a substitution. Fabiën Buskermolen replaced Danny van den Hoogen. After 80 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Idrak Mahmudov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Emmanuel in the 84th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Romero made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Jouke Jacobs sent off a good shot on target. Igor Emmanuel took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurens Oosterman. Laurens Oosterman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Oddbjørn Haugli kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The supporters of Arrecifes booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordi Meijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Igor Emmanuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurens Oosterman was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Arrecifes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
