In the 14th minute of the match Alonzo Oxel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Enström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maximiliano Dalmu's late challenge caught a Lirarnas Lag's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Dalmu helped the player get up and apologised. Maximiliano Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Baldomero Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Norberto Medardo made a precise shot to the right of Alf Enström. Lirarnas Lag's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alf Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Medardo in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Black Rose 1979 got a corner. Lirarnas Lag's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alonzo Oxel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alonzo Oxel made a great header on Black Rose 1979's corner, it was just that Lirarnas Lag's Alf Enström managed to reach the ball for a save. Black Rose 1979's Baldomero Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Black Rose 1979 defense, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Guillem. The Black Rose 1979 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Guillem should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Carlos Malvin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alf Enström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, one of Lirarnas Lag:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lirarnas Lag.
Baldomero Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Wästerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Lirarnas Lag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Medardo in the 65th minute of play forced Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Alf Enström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lirarnas Lag's Alf Enström got control of the ball when Enzo-Nicolás Pérez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Malvin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Alf Enström made a huge save. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Alf Enström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. During the 85th minute of the match Maximiliano Dalmu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maximiliano Dalmu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Maximiliano Dalmu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Christer Wästerberg. Christer Wästerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 98th minute of play. Black Rose 1979's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
