Arnoldo Kismi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fermin Mingo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Constantino Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Black Rose 1979's Baldomero Guillem got control of the ball when Iker Dolfos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Dolfos. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rose 1979's zone, Fermin Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Guillem came out of the goal and Fermin Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Mingo in the 30th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Baldomero Guillem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Joel Venceslao got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Gaufred Betanzos came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Kerimhan Sökmen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Medardo in the 46th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Mingo was the one to do the kick off. Black Rose 1979's Cristo Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Mingo came free, but Baldomero Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez to maneuver through the defense. When Constantino Bertol came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the C. A. Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Bertol couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes, C. A. Atlanta's Federico Gil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Atlanta reached it. Baldomero Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Dolfos in the 73rd minute of play. Baldomero Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Gaufred Betanzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 88th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Fermin Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Mingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Kismi made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Black Rose 1979 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
