Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Jouke Jacobs made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jef Savenije didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jef Savenije during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Jef Savenije. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Mingo in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Elbert Spanjer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi. Arnoldo Kismi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Iker Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurens Oosterman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elbert Spanjer in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Kismi saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. Ferdi van der Schaaf made a great header on De Pelgrims's corner, it was just that C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi managed to reach the ball for a save. Constantino Bertol's late challenge caught a De Pelgrims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Bertol helped the player get up and apologised. Constantino Bertol kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Elbert Spanjer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Kismi came out of the goal and Elbert Spanjer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. When Koos Keupink came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koos Keupink couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Koos Keupink kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnoldo Kismi. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny van den Hoogen in the 35th minute of the match. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Arnoldo Kismi came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by De Pelgrims's Koos Keupink. But to his dismay, Koos Keupink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Elbert Spanjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Apolo Artizar hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Danny van den Hoogen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Arnoldo Kismi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fermin Mingo made a kick off. Geert Arend Robben kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Kristian Roswinkel charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristian Roswinkel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60th play minutes Koos Keupink shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Arnoldo Kismi and just under the crossbar into goal. Geert Arend Robben hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Marc Aalberts hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Mingo in the 67th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Dolfos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Arnoldo Kismi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elbert Spanjer's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny van den Hoogen in the 74th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's Fermin Mingo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laurens Oosterman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Danny van den Hoogen came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the C. A. Atlanta defense, Danny van den Hoogen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. The C. A. Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Kismi should have stopped the shot. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koos Keupink in the 94th minute of play. De Pelgrims's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
