After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Alonzo Oxel got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ferdi van der Schaaf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Baldomero Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koos Keupink in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny van den Hoogen in the 14th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurens Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Malvin in the 15th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Kelvin de Boer put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in De Pelgrims fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! De Pelgrims:s Laurens Oosterman showed great skill when he stopped Alonzo Oxel:s penalty. Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Menno Bodde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Koos Keupink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Baldomero Guillem made a huge save. Danny van den Hoogen struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Baldomero Guillem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Pelgrims. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Guipuzkoa in the 34th minute of play. Carlos Malvin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Medardo made a kick off. Menno Bodde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez hit a great ball. Baldomero Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koos Keupink, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Elbert Spanjer came free, but Baldomero Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits Beuneker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Koos Keupink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geert Arend Robben kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Laurens Oosterman made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Alonzo Oxel sent off a good shot on target. In the 69thth minute of the game Koos Keupink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Rose 1979's Baldomero Guillem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koos Keupink in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Guillem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes of play, De Pelgrims's Koos Keupink made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Koos Keupink left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Pelgrims fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
