Laurens Oosterman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Armentier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Armentier in the 3rd minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Jurgen De Rudder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurens Oosterman. De Pelgrims's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurgen De Rudder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurgen De Rudder in the 13th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny van den Hoogen in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the De Pelgrims defense, Edgard Armentier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurens Oosterman. The De Pelgrims fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurens Oosterman should have stopped the shot. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Armentier in the 21st minute of the match. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurgen De Rudder, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Elbert Spanjer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kristiaan Van de Velde. Elbert Spanjer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. A collision led to de belletrekkers getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Quentin Capelle hit a great ball. 30 minutes in the game Ferdi van der Schaaf after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Kristiaan Van de Velde. A very good opportunity. 37 minutes into the match, Koos Keupink notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde. Kristiaan Van de Velde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. de belletrekkers's Jurgen De Rudder managed to work through De Pelgrims's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jurgen De Rudder dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Geert Arend Robben kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Laurens Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Armentier in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koos Keupink to make the kick off. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koos Keupink, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny van den Hoogen in the 53rd minute of play. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Van den Gans, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as de belletrekkers's Jurgen De Rudder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laurens Oosterman. That made the score 2-3 after 59 minutes of play. When Inocencio Ariando came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the de belletrekkers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Ariando couldn't finish the play. Laurens Oosterman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jurgen De Rudder went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Armentier got free with Laurens Oosterman in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, de belletrekkers's Edgard Armentier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Jef Savenije hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Laurens Oosterman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurgen De Rudder, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jurgen De Rudder took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurens Oosterman. Laurens Oosterman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. The De Pelgrims fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. de belletrekkers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
