Remigio Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhang Zheng Liang in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Kadi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Fabiano Eger hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Donoghue Lester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Errando in the 8th minute of the match. Julian Kadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Zheng Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Zhang Zheng Liang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Kadi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Vila Mascote FC defense, Anselmo Errando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donoghue Lester. The Vila Mascote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donoghue Lester should have stopped the shot. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Julian Kadi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Cartero de Agronomia F.C. from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Laurentzi in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an all-out effort, Vila Mascote FC's Julian Kadi threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zhang Zheng Liang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julian Kadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Sarmento in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Jesus Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Délio Peixoto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julian Kadi, 2-1. Vila Mascote FC's Donoghue Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Laurentzi in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Délio Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Délio Peixoto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Mascote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Laurentzi got free with Donoghue Lester in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Laurentzi in the 60th minute of play forced Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper Donoghue Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vila Mascote FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fausto Aurken was slow to take the kick. During this time Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Fausto Aurken to fire away a dangerous shot which Donoghue Lester despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Kadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Zheng Liang in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Zhang Zheng Liang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Mascote FC and the Cartero de Agronomia F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Vila Mascote FC got a freekick which was hit by Zhang Zheng Liang. Julian Kadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Zheng Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
