Dominique Wilkins kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Rytis Paškevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo do Vale in the 5th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo do Vale's late challenge caught a FC COSA NOSTRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Eduardo do Vale helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC COSA NOSTRA booed when Vila Mascote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rytis Paškevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Zheng Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhang Zheng Liang in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rytis Paškevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Stasys Povilaitis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donoghue Lester. The goal made the score 1-0. Rytis Paškevičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean Sarmento's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Donoghue Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Mališauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhang Zheng Liang in the 25th minute of play forced FC COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Rytis Paškevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Vila Mascote FC got a freekick which was hit by Zhang Zheng Liang. Stasys Povilaitis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Donoghue Lester made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stasys Povilaitis in the 39th minute of play forced Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper Donoghue Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Vila Mascote FC's Jean Sarmento made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rytis Paškevičius was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute Jean Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rytis Paškevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila Mascote FC's Donoghue Lester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Mascote FC from getting a goal against them. Franklin Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Mališauskas came free, but Donoghue Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Vila Mascote FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stasys Povilaitis to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Miglius Beržinis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC COSA NOSTRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Mascote FC the free kick. In the 51st match minute, FC COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miglius Beržinis to maneuver through the defense. Rytis Paškevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Zheng Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Mascote FC's zone, Miglius Beržinis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 70th minute Zhang Zheng Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rytis Paškevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stasys Povilaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rytis Paškevičius was a little too slow when Jean Sarmento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-4. 78 minutes into the game, Vila Mascote FC's Zhang Zheng Liang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rytis Paškevičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Rytis Paškevičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhang Zheng Liang in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Vila Mascote FC defense, Stasys Povilaitis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donoghue Lester. The Vila Mascote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donoghue Lester should have stopped the shot. Rytis Paškevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Sarmento in the 85th minute of the match. Doni Romero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rytis Paškevičius firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Vila Mascote FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Délio Peixoto hit a great ball. FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vila Mascote FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
