After some careless play in the union española s.a. defense, Costin Piț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandro Placente. The union española s.a. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandro Placente should have stopped the shot. Ivan Cârlan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Serrano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Daniel Cenușă made a huge save. In the 34th minute, union española s.a.'s Fulgencio Serrano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s goal looked a bit too open when Costin Piț came free, but Sandro Placente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Muget's Irinel Oros got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half Muget were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Neira to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Bonifacio Cavada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Cenușă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Irinel Oros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muget's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave union española s.a. the free kick. Irinel Oros hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sandro Placente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Piț in the 60th minute. Eulalio Sudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cenușă having to interfere. Sandro Placente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Măliță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cătălin Crașovan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
