Spectators: 7656 (Terracing: 5744, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giampaolo Pazzini took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Percy Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Brandolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Giampaolo Pazzini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Eduardo Valle. Giampaolo Pazzini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Aris Salonicco FC's Felice Brandolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Baptista in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giampaolo Pazzini in the 19th minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Agostinho Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Felice Brandolini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giampaolo Pazzini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Silvestre hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Aris Salonicco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Domingues came free, but Felice Brandolini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermanno Baresi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Felice Brandolini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felice Brandolini came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Gala's Sérgio Matos. But to his dismay, Sérgio Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldinho Baptista made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Federico Cardano put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Eduardo Valle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Domingues in the 55th minute of play forced Aris Salonicco FC's goalkeeper Felice Brandolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Aris Salonicco FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bruno Silvestre hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Osvaldinho Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Brandolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Aris Salonicco FC's Giampaolo Pazzini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inter Gala's Luís Eduardo Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Negri in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match Aris Salonicco FC got a corner. Inter Gala's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ermanno Baresi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Federico Cardano made a great header on Aris Salonicco FC's corner, it was just that Inter Gala's Luís Eduardo Valle managed to reach the ball for a save. Felice Brandolini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Luís Eduardo Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giampaolo Pazzini in the 71st minute of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Giampaolo Pazzini sped through Inter Gala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Valle. Inter Gala's Hélder Mendes was substituted for Agostinho Domingues. A collision led to Aris Salonicco FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ciccio Russo hit a great ball. Felice Brandolini made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Osvaldinho Baptista sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes in the game José Augusto Medeiros did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nilson Sarmento. Antonio Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Giampaolo Pazzini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Inter Gala defense, Giampaolo Pazzini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Valle. The Inter Gala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Eduardo Valle should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aris Salonicco FC had won after a very even match.
