Spectators: 7366 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cássio Paes started the match with the kick off. Ulrik Torstensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Britto having to interfere. The supporters of Valla Fc booed when Trindade Atlético Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Nykvist hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Edmílson Britto made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ulrik Torstensson sent off a good shot on target. Valla Fc's Ulrik Torstensson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Edmílson Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Töpfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Töpfer in the 40th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Peter Töpfer took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Edmílson Britto to make any attempt to save it. Niklas Vallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Trindade Atlético Club's Fabiano Lopez got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Valla Fc getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Tor-Ivar Kalland hit a great ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Peter Töpfer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trindade Atlético Club's Edmílson Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 played minutes Valla Fc got a freekick which was hit by Per-Olof Wennerberg. After 61 played minutes Valla Fc got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Ivar Kalland. Trindade Atlético Club's Edmílson Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Töpfer in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Torstensson in the 67th minute of play forced Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Edmílson Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmílson Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Töpfer in the 71st minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Peter Töpfer made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Trindade Atlético Club's Edmílson Britto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goalkeeper Niklas Vallander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovani Sergipano. The crowd rose to their feet as Edu Nóbrega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niklas Vallander. That made the score 3-1 in the 82 minute of play. Edmílson Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Töpfer went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Niklas Vallander came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Trindade Atlético Club's Cássio Paes. But to his dismay, Cássio Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Trindade Atlético Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
