The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Peace Home Street Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Lindmark to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Valla Fc's Niklas Vallander got control of the ball when Lennart Nordmark tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Peace Home Street Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Wallmark came free, but Sixten Molander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Oskar Wallmark cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sixten Molander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sixten Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Ivar Kalland in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Julin got free with Niklas Vallander in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixten Molander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Wallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Sixten Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Torstensson in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peace Home Street Boys's Erland Forss got a free kick in the 34th minute. William Lundström came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niklas Vallander could save by the left post. In the 41st match minute, Peace Home Street Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Dahlbom to maneuver through the defense. Valla Fc's Niklas Vallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Nordmark in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Valla Fc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulrik Torstensson was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, William Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Eric Gallin in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Valla Fc's Dennis Schröder. Tor-Ivar Kalland charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor-Ivar Kalland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Rune Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lennart Nordmark came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Peace Home Street Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Nordmark couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Charles Julin suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. 69 minutes into the game, Grigore Posteucă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valla Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peace Home Street Boys the free kick. Peace Home Street Boys made a substitution. Inge Flinck replaced Charles Julin. Niklas Vallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Niklas Vallander came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Peace Home Street Boys's William Lundström. But to his dismay, William Lundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 81 minutes into the match, Tor-Ivar Kalland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sixten Molander, 1-2. After some careless play in the Valla Fc defense, Inge Flinck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Vallander. The Valla Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Vallander should have stopped the shot. Niklas Vallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Lundström in the 87th minute of play. Oskar Wallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Molander having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
