Dráuzio Arantes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. William Lundström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dráuzio Arantes made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Dráuzio Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Lundström. Sixten Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Filho in the 16th minute of play. Dráuzio Arantes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when William Lundström sent off a good shot on target. Charles Julin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dráuzio Arantes made a huge save. After having played for 23 minutes, Lennart Nordmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peace Home Street Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Nordmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles Julin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dráuzio Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, Peace Home Street Boys's William Lundström made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráuzio Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles Julin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Dráuzio Arantes made a huge save. Cássio Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Peace Home Street Boys booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Filho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fiori Arósio to make the kick off. Sixten Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Arósio in the 52nd minute of play. Dráuzio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Lundström in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Lundström in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráuzio Arantes saved Sagarana Clube from getting behind. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 4-0 when William Lundström sped through Sagarana Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dráuzio Arantes. Sixten Molander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hudson Albuquerque in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Lundström in the 65th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Dráuzio Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Lundström in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráuzio Arantes saved Sagarana Clube from getting behind. Dráuzio Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Julin in the 71st minute of the match. Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Julin in the 72nd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when William Lundström came free, but Dráuzio Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Filho got free with Sixten Molander in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute Cafu Filho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixten Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Filho in the 88th minute of play. Dráuzio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Lundström in the 90th minute of play. After 95 played minutes, Sagarana Clube's William Cabral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sixten Molander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sagarana Clube reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sagarana Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peace Home Street Boys.
