In the 18th minute of the match, Sebastian Bentkowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peter Oldenborger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Goral Zywiec's Boguslaw Jarek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peter Oldenborger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Czajkowski in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Oldenborger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the game, Waclaw Poremba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leszek Pruss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Goral Zywiec's Leszek Pruss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenik Hoffhuis in the 34th minute of play. Wasyl Pionek kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes, MK Investments's Waclaw Poremba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leszek Pruss came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The supporters of MK Investments booed when Goral Zywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Dlugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Tibau De Jaeger. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sebastian Bentkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Oldenborger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Oldenborger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 71st match minute, MK Investments was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Cales to maneuver through the defense.
