Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kong Jing Kun kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Kong Jing Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Feliciano Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amado Pacorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Leo Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhu Xi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Victoro in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhu Xi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amado Pacorro struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Zhu Xi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Zhu Xi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Gorosti went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pastor Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kong Jing Kun in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Kong Jing Kun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amado Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zhu Xi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Los Galacticos's Zhu Chong Ao got a free kick in the 35th minute. Mariano Gorosti's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Zhu Xi - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Jaunti in the 42nd minute of play forced Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Zhu Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Jaunti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhu Xi was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Pastor Bartoli came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Galacticos's Ruben Le. But to his dismay, Ruben Le quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Los Galacticos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independiente were winning 1-3.

In the 52nd match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Independiente got a corner. Los Galacticos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Gorosti ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Independiente's corner Mariano Gorosti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zhu Xi quite easily take care of the ball. Zhuang Liang Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes, Independiente's Mariano Gorosti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zhu Xi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independiente reached it. Zhuang Liang Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Feliciano Jaunti took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zhu Xi. Zhu Xi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 68th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Policarpio to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Jaunti scored 1-6 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhu Xi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the last second Zhu Xi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Amado Pacorro in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ruben Le's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Le helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los Galacticos getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ruben Le hit a great ball. When Feliciano Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Jaunti couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Independiente booed when Los Galacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhuang Liang Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Independiente's Mariano Gorosti shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zhu Xi but with some difficulty. In the 83rd minute, Ruben Le hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Mariano Gorosti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Zhu Xi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the match, Independiente's Mariano Gorosti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zhu Xi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliciano Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Zhu Xi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Los Galacticos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Independiente's performance. The match ended with a win for Independiente.
