In the 26th minute José Carlos Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Raúl Garcia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elias Wållander, 3-0. 30 minutes into the game, Casper Caspersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Forward's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Landulfos FC the free kick. Casper Caspersson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Silas Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Åström, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Casper Caspersson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The supporters of BK Forward booed when Landulfos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Viktor Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adhemar de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Adhemar de Alcântara sped through BK Forward's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elias Wållander. Magnus Lekberg struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Silas Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Forward. 62 minutes into the match, BK Forward's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Negri came free, but Elias Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the BK Forward defense, Adhemar de Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Wållander. The BK Forward fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Wållander should have stopped the shot. Mathias Ahlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Adhemar de Alcântara sped through BK Forward's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elias Wållander. If Marcelo Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Landulfos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Recife to maneuver through the defense. Many of BK Forward's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. BK Forward may have spent more time on the ball, but Landulfos FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
