Elias Wållander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 20th minute of the match Los Galacticos got a corner. BK Forward's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xie Yue Chao ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Los Galacticos's Pablo Aimar to fire away a dangerous shot which Elias Wållander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Xie Yue Chao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Wållander was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Vincent Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhu Xi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BK Forward's Elias Wållander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kong Jing Kun in the 28th minute of play. Zhu Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Hägglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Zhu Xi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Åström in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Linus Hägglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BK Forward's Elias Wållander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Le in the 43rd minute of play. The BK Forward players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Galacticos were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viktor Åström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zhu Xi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Hägglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BK Forward's Elias Wållander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save BK Forward from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Galacticos's Pablo Aimar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elias Wållander. That made the score 0-4 after 54 minutes of play. Meng Zhan Yang was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, one of Los Galacticos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Galacticos. If Kong Jing Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, BK Forward's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Jing Kun came free, but Elias Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Holm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhu Xi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, BK Forward was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Blixt to maneuver through the defense. Elias Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Le in the 79th minute of the match. Robert Salqvist hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Elias Wållander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kong Jing Kun went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of BK Forward booed when Los Galacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincent Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zhu Xi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
