Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César Cruz made a kick off. When Miguel Chaves fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PREZULO FC's protests and gave Miguel Chaves a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After 52 minutes, Leonardo Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PREZULO FC and the Carqueja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes PREZULO FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Cavalcante. With a little luck, PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil got control of the ball when Chale Combarros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Carqueja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chale Combarros to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Lorencio Ruelas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil. Dida Brasil had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Lorencio Ruelas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Peruanton Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Carneiro in the 72nd minute of play. PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save PREZULO FC from getting a goal against them. Uzuri Zamarripa charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uzuri Zamarripa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uzuri Zamarripa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Lorencio Ruelas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dida Brasil, 2-3. In the 90th minute, Dito Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Carqueja's Lorencio Ruelas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dida Brasil. That made the score 2-4 after 92 minutes of play. Carqueja's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
