Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Feliciano Jaunti kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Carqueja booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute of the match Orlondo Mathey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Muc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carqueja's Peruanton Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Carqueja from getting a goal against them. Peruanton Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xosepe Feito, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Feliciano Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Feliciano Jaunti struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Peruanton Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorencio Ruelas in the 18th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Christian Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peruanton Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Jaunti in the 21st minute of the match. Feliciano Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Peruanton Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Xosepe Feito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Muc came out of the goal and Xosepe Feito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrico Montaña in the 26th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Christian Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Jaunti in the 32nd minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Peruanton Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carqueja's Theobald Trubica got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Arturo Jesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Jesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Carqueja getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Theobald Trubica hit a great ball. Peruanton Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chale Combarros to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Carqueja's zone, Feliciano Jaunti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peruanton Lago came out of the goal and Feliciano Jaunti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Amadeo Tab got a free kick in the 61st minute. Aldo Iruinea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Aldo Iruinea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theobald Trubica in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Muc saved Independiente from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorencio Ruelas got free with Christian Muc in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Lorencio Ruelas made a precise shot to the right of Christian Muc. Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 84 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Christian Muc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xosepe Feito. In the 92nd minute, Orlondo Mathey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Feliciano Jaunti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peruanton Lago skillfully saved the ball. Peruanton Lago came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Edgardo Lluterio. But to his dismay, Edgardo Lluterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
