Agapito Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Ugla in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Ugla in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agapito Blanco saved FCSB CUENCA from getting behind. If Carlos Pujol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, FCSB CUENCA's Marcio Carreira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Agapito Blanco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Ugla's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Aquiles Azofra kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Ugla in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcio Carreira got free with Tomás Lucila in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcio Carreira in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Lucila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute of the match Silver Play 2 got a corner. FCSB CUENCA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Segundo Txurio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alvaro Marcones almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco did a great save. In the 38th minute, Alvaro Marcones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silver Play 2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Carlos Pujol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tomás Lucila made a huge save. After 44 played minutes FCSB CUENCA got a freekick which was hit by Felix Zărnescu. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åke Ugla to make the kick off. Åke Uglas short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Agapito Blanco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silver Play 2's Åke Ugla got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Carlos Carrio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 60 minutes, Åke Ugla made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 67 in the game by Åke Ugla from a close distance when the talented Agapito Blanco managed to make a qualified save. FCSB CUENCA's players were relieved. Åke Ugla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Agapito Blanco made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Ugla got free with Agapito Blanco in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Åke Ugla in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Agapito Blanco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 78thth minute of the game Åke Ugla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silver Play 2's attack was well implemented in the 83rd minute, but when Åke Ugla was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 94 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goalkeeper Agapito Blanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blasi Cerreri. In the 96th minute Carlos Pujol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silver Play 2 played a much better game than FCSB CUENCA and deserved their victory. The FCSB CUENCA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
