The supporters of Apocalípticos & Caóticos booed when Club Atletico Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Honorio Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Cebo in the 9th minute of play. When Timoteo Ponce fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apocalípticos & Caóticos's protests and gave Timoteo Ponce a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Honorio Oso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atletico Lanus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodrigo Eli in the 14th minute. A collision led to Apocalípticos & Caóticos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tomás Frasco hit a great ball. If Honorio Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonides Orlondon was a little too slow when Silvestre Favila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Amadeo Cebo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Oso. Honorio Oso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Dalmacio Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Paulino Benat hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Silvestre Favila ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonides Orlondon. Leonides Orlondon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Leonides Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Pinto in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Pinto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute, Silvestre Favila made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Orlondon. Club Atletico Lanus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Lino Sarracino's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Lanus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Sarracino hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Silvestre Favila notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Club Atletico Lanus's Leonides Orlondon. Leonides Orlondon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute, Silvestre Favila made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Orlondon. Club Atletico Lanus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lanus's Honorio Pinto got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes Club Atletico Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Santiago. After 87 minutes of play, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Silvestre Favila made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Orlondon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicanor Gomez hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Apocalípticos & Caóticos were the better team. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
