When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, George Pãduret put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Valeriy Smalko. FC Kolos's Valeriy Smalko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Dadu in the 16th minute of play. Valeriy Smalko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Pãduret, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Valeriy Smalko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mircea Dadu went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, George Pãduret notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Kolos's Valeriy Smalko. Valeriy Smalko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tudor Tãrâtã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A hard shot 52 in the game by George Pãduret from a close distance when the talented Valeriy Smalko managed to make a qualified save. FC Kolos's players were relieved. With a little luck, FC Kolos's Valeriy Smalko got control of the ball when George Pãduret tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valeriy Smalko made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Pãduret in the 60th minute. Valeriy Smalko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Dadu in the 64th minute of the match.
