In the 3rd match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Zachrisson to maneuver through the defense. Ibrahim Chapalain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Carl Utfal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Yvan Sabathe got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Ibrahim Chapalain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Donostia came free, but Régis Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Jørg Heichendorff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Régis Bastian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Donostia in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Régis Bastian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Ignacio Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ibrahim Chapalain's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Carl Utfal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carl Utfal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Castex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Régis Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 李煜 Wu in the 35th minute of play. Ibrahim Chapalain might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Utfal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ibrahim Chapalain ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl Utfal made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ibrahim Chapalain sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Les Pionniers de Touraine were awarded a corner. Jean-Pascal Berthelot went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jean-Pascal Berthelot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sonstorps Fotboll's Carl Utfal did a great save. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Martin Zachrisson hit a great ball. Karl Cauchy kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when 李煜 Wu came free, but Régis Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ibrahim Chapalain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Martin Zachrisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 60 in the game by Ignacio Donostia from a close distance when the talented Régis Bastian managed to make a qualified save. Les Pionniers de Touraine's players were relieved. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when Les Pionniers de Touraine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Pascal Berthelot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Rodrigue Davoust made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Utfal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carl Utfal came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Christian Castex. But to his dismay, Christian Castex quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ibrahim Chapalain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Christian Castex managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Pionniers de Touraine's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Castex was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Utfal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
