Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Félix started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cornelio Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Froilan Dolcet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Baristo. Cornelio Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Renan Jacinto took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Asteri. Cornelio Asteri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17th minute, Anier Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match Dudu Pinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Asteri skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th minute, Hector Terciero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dudu Pinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cornelio Asteri. Guansa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Guansa's Isidoro Baristo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froilan Dolcet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guansa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aldo Cresconio in the 23rd minute. The corner led Guansa's Aldo Cresconio to fire away a dangerous shot which Froilan Dolcet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Baristo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Froilan Dolcet. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Joaquim Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Asteri having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Oséias Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibirama Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 42 minutes into the game, Joaquim Félix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Cornelio Asteri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Baristo to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Baristo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Dolcet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Baristo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Froilan Dolcet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Baristo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dolcet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Ordono hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Oséias Severo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Ibirama Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Cornelio Asteri managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Ibirama Futebol Clube's Oséias Severo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The throw-in from Dedê Trancoso in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Guansa's Mauro Ordono. Isidoro Baristo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Dolcet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Isidoro Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guansa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Baristo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Dudu Pinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibirama Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Cornelio Asteri was a little too slow when Dudu Pinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Severo in the 83rd minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Cornelio Asteri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Dolcet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Baristo's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Serafino Ostots hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Joaquim Félix could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Cornelio Asteri however easily saved by the left post. Ibirama Futebol Clube played a much better game than Guansa and deserved their victory. The Guansa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
