When Noel Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Templários MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Furlan couldn't finish the play. After having played for 5 minutes, Noel Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templários MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Falcão in the 7th minute of play forced Templários MZC's goalkeeper Laze Gjoka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Furlan got free with Froilan Dolcet in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 played minutes Templários MZC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Lira. Laze Gjoka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Furlan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Froilan Dolcet firmly grabbed it by the left post. Laze Gjoka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Severo in the 26th minute of play. Noel Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Froilan Dolcet made a huge save. Roger Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Dolcet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Templários MZC got a corner. Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Guedes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Templários MZC's Roger Guedes to fire away a dangerous shot which Froilan Dolcet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. If Roger Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Froilan Dolcet came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Templários MZC's Roger Guedes. But to his dismay, Roger Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 45 played minutes Templários MZC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Ventura. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Furlan made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Noel Furlan made a precise shot to the right of Froilan Dolcet. Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 54 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Guedes came free, but Froilan Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laze Gjoka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yan Falcão in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Noel Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templários MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Dolcet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurinho de Mendonça hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The supporters of Templários MZC booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Guedes in the 67th minute of the match. Froilan Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Marciewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Zula Marciewicz made a precise shot to the right of Froilan Dolcet. Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Laze Gjoka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Félix in the 78th minute. Roger Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Yan Falcão could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Laze Gjoka however easily saved by the left post. Roger Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Dolcet having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roger Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Dolcet was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Roger Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91st play minutes Roger Guedes shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Froilan Dolcet and just under the crossbar into goal. Roger Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Dolcet having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Templários MZC had won after a very even match.
