Joaquim Félix took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eron Reguer. Eron Reguer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Elkin Calle hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A hard and well directed shot from Dudu Pinho led 23 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Penuel Football Club's Eron Reguer became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. Goizeder Getino hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Eron Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Severo in the 31st minute of the match. Eron Reguer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséias Severo went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With his leg Froilan Dolcet managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Penuel Football Club's Niceto Ovalle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Penuel Football Club getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Elkin Calle hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Dudu Pinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eron Reguer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ibirama Futebol Clube reached it. 42 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Félix came free, but Eron Reguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ibirama Futebol Clube were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Félix to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Joaquim Félix got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Joaquim Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Osorio to maneuver through the defense. Veronica Vielva kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Penuel Football Club's Aires Viña was substituted for Goizeder Getino. Penuel Football Club made a substitution.
