In the 20th minute, Victor Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Rossell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Kilarski in the 22nd minute of the match. Hidalgo Gallegos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Victor Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Steffens having to interfere. After a rather tough play, JS 22's Darío Cvitanich got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hidalgo Gallegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Victor Peres made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Lisandro Gipils hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Peres took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Steffens. Robert Steffens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Robert Steffens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Loja S.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Barnaba Kilarski scored to the left of an out of position Ismael Rossell, making the score, 1-1. JS 22's Arnulfo Tancredo was substituted for Darío Cvitanich. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis-Antonio Barraza during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Luis-Antonio Barraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Xefe Elizondo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell got control of the ball when Everardo Palban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lisandro Gipils helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lisandro Gipils hit a great ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Arnulfo Tancredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Rossell made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Everardo Palban sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Victor Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
