The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Peres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jefferson Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Vedeja in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruperto Bastia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Peres got free with Ruperto Bastia in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loja S.C. were furious when Victoro Rayon was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Victor Peres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruperto Bastia came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Peres slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 84th minute. Victor Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Bastia having to interfere.
