Delfim Vilas Boas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Ochoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Li Wei Nan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Carlos Castelo Branco sent off a good shot on target. FC Lions Levice's Li Wei Nan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC Lions Levice from getting a goal against them. Li Wei Nan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from František Cangár in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Gedeon in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Vilas Boas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Li Wei Nan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Oliveira in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Ľubomír Vidlička made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gabriel Gedeon however managed to control. Delfim Vilas Boas came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lions Levice's Pedro Ochoa. But to his dismay, Pedro Ochoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 62 minutes into the match, Pedro Ochoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delfim Vilas Boas. MZ Fénix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Ochoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Gedeon in the 65th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Lázaro Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Wei Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Pavol Heršic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Belchior Miranda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Li Wei Nan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Gedeon in the 69th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Lions Levice's Martin Vengloš got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, FC Lions Levice's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Oliveira came free, but Li Wei Nan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Li Wei Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match, Pedro Ochoa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The MZ Fénix fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when MZ Fénix's Lázaro Oliveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Lázaro Oliveira put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Li Wei Nan. The FC Lions Levice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Lions Levice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
