Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Yanne Callaerts made the kick off and thus started the match. Jefferson Linhares had several of the Real Unión CF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Emanuel Neuer as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Real Unión CF's zone, Jefferson Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Neuer came out of the goal and Jefferson Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Armando Blanco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MDQ Raptors FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Unión CF the free kick. After 26 played minutes MDQ Raptors FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Blanco. Ruperto Bastia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanne Callaerts in the 30th minute of the match. Jefferson Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Neuer having to interfere. Gutierre Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson Linhares to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Blanco in the 55th minute of play. MDQ Raptors FC's Ruperto Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gutierre Chamorro in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Linhares came free, but Emanuel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xulian Curro hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Armando Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Emanuel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Linhares in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Neuer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MDQ Raptors FC's Ruperto Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanne Callaerts in the 69th minute of play. Yanne Callaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Bastia having to interfere. Armando Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Unión CF's Lavdi Eminaj was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruperto Bastia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The MDQ Raptors FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
