Edmundo Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benvide Cercalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Benvide Cercalde kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edmundo Falcão. That made the score 0-1 in the 62 minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Benvide Cercalde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmundo Falcão. Benvide Cercalde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 70th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheche Bellogin in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edmundo Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benvide Cercalde. In the 81st minute Benvide Cercalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Cheche Bellogin took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Edmundo Falcão to make any attempt to save it. Luís Paulo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez having to interfere. RAMBO FC played a much better game than Joinville City - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Joinville City - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
