In the 3rd minute, Luizão Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Marcos Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Telmo de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Savier Arco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elbrus Li sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Elbrus Li came free, but Telmo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Luizão Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Efraim in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savier Arco saved Club Deportivo Xpertin from getting behind. Savier Arco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th match minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Aldridge to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Paetz came free, but Telmo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Luizão Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 91st minute, Arturo Filippini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
