Zuberbühler FC's Tiburcio Goito quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derk Borst in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savier Arco saved Club Deportivo Xpertin from getting behind. Savier Arco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derk Borst in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute Derk Borst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savier Arco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Maxín Medel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Xpertin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuberbühler FC the free kick. Derk Borst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savier Arco having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Derk Borst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Xpertin's Savier Arco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Julio Gipuzkoa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Deportivo Xpertin's Savier Arco. Savier Arco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Deportivo Xpertin's Savier Arco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Gipuzkoa in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Zuberbühler FC were awarded a corner. German Tonete went to the cornerflag to take it. Arturo Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but 龚扬强 made a huge save. Derk Borst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Savier Arco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derk Borst in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Savier Arco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 龚扬强 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo in the 42nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Carlos Augusto de Moraes put in a rough tackle. In the 44th minute, one of Zuberbühler FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zuberbühler FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julio Gipuzkoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Vidal in the 52nd minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper 龚扬强 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Vidal came free, but 龚扬强 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Zuberbühler FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
