Emerald's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florín Sances in the 4th minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mercurio Miquel in the 8th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinand Condrea during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Condrea. Mercurio Miquel took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Lobonț. Bogdan Lobonț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Cobresal from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vermeşan came free, but Constantin Ionaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Emerald's corner Gabriel Vermeşan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Constantin Ionaș quite easily take care of the ball. Celino Alico made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rubén Pulgar. Victor Piţurcă might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantin Ionaș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Piţurcă ran back to his position shaking his head. Constantin Ionaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Piţurcă came free, but Constantin Ionaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Victor Piţurcă dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Constantin Ionaș, 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Emerald's Victor Piţurcă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Ionaș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute Victor Piţurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Ionaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Bermejo Antoine threw the ball into play from the sideline. Emerald's Damian Furlit quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mercurio Miquel kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Victor Piţurcă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Emerald's Victor Piţurcă in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cobresal's goalie prevented a goal. Victor Piţurcă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Constantin Ionaș made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vermeşan in the 47th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Constantin Ionaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
In the 50th minute, Bermejo Antoine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Piţurcă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Ionaș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Emerald's Victor Piţurcă made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantin Ionaș was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Emerald's Matei Félix Júnior got a free kick in the 94th minute. Emerald's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
