The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aigeus Milionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shao Hui Li in the 4th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Hahay's goalkeeper Aigeus Milionis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shao Hui Li. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Lewandowski in the 16th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jean-Paul Daalmeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Shao Hui Li hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Berenguer in the 32nd minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Hahay's Wawrzyniec Lewandowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Shao Hui Li had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Snel to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hahay's goalkeeper Aigeus Milionis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wawrzyniec Lewandowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Glapiak to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer got control of the ball when Delmar Berenguer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Ulleberg. Hahay's Iwan Skaradoski was substituted for Zachary Domeracki. But to his dismay, Steve Gerrard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Berenguer in the 68th minute of the match. The Underdogs's Gerard van den Eede was substituted for Shao Hui Li. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard van den Eede in the 76th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Aigeus Milionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 78th minute. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard van den Eede in the 79th minute of play. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Hahay's Delmar Berenguer. But to his dismay, Delmar Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.
