Baltasar Cadelo helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Cadelo. With 36 minutes on the clock, Jerome Achen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Lugano! La Para had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Vural Demirbaş's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Internet XAire's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vural Demirbaş in the 40th minute. Adam Bareiro made a great header on Internet XAire's corner, it was just that FC Lugano's La Para managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Bareiro in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Para saved FC Lugano from getting behind. La Para showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Bareiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
