In the 21stth minute of the game Jack Saunders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bezek's Maciej Mielcarz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Klas Tingelholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maciej Mielcarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Lugano's Klas Tingelholm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maciej Mielcarz. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Alexander Testa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Edgar Solibieda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but La Para showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jack Saunders hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. FC Lugano's La Para played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Logewnik in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Krzysztof Logewnik notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Lugano's La Para. La Para was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bezek's goalkeeper Maciej Mielcarz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute Jakub Waselenczuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maciej Mielcarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakub Waselenczuk in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maciej Mielcarz saved Bezek from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Nereo Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Lugano manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Bezek to win.
