The corner led to FC Lugano's Fred Lara getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Fred Lara scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tord Waller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Baptiste Demestre came free, but La Para reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Saunders came free, but Tord Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Le Stade Briochin UC's zone, Zhao Le Sen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Waller came out of the goal and Zhao Le Sen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller got control of the ball when Nereo Precioso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Marc-Aurèle Hallier got a free kick in the 39th minute. FC Lugano's Zhao Le Sen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tord Waller but with some difficulty. Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Lara in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute Fred Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fred Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. Tord Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Saunders in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jérôme Mure hit a great ball. After 57 minutes of play, FC Lugano's Yusuf Ziya Cerit made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tord Waller was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tord Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Cerit, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Ziya Cerit came free, but Tord Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Yusuf Ziya Cerit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Ziya Cerit in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Florent Fau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Lugano made a substitution. Benoit Ritieni replaced Jakub Waselenczuk. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Florent Fau got a free kick in the 69th minute. Zhao Le Sen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tord Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Ziya Cerit in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Nereo Precioso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC Lugano's Fred Lara in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Le Stade Briochin UC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th minute, Klas Tingelholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tord Waller was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Tord Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute FC Lugano were awarded a corner. Zhao Le Sen went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Zhao Le Sen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tord Waller quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Le Stade Briochin UC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
