Casimiro Ignatius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Brookman in the 24th minute of the match. Casimiro Ignatius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasper Delamore's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Proteu's supporters rose to their feet, but Denílson Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabien Barthez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Egg Chasers FC from getting a goal against them. Rony Dudu's late challenge caught a Egg Chasers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rony Dudu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Proteu's Rony Dudu got a free kick in the 40th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Ignatius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Fabien Barthez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 毛明昆 in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Egg Chasers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armando Piacentini was slow to take the kick. During this time Proteu's players had a chance to rest. Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 毛明昆 in the 82nd minute of play. Proteu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Kenny Duckworth scored to the left of an out of position Casimiro Ignatius, making the score, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Egg Chasers FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
