INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Alisson Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Brookman in the 24th minute of play. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Orlando Loyola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Franz Hardcastle, made in the 26th minute of the game. Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Head Son in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gerson Rezende hit a great ball. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Egg Chasers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nilmar de Souza took the corner. A collision led to INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Daniel Wincek hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Orlando Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Egg Chasers FC's Kenny Duckworth in action when he in the 43rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The audience was convinced that Lucas Head Son's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabien Barthez was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Lucas Head Son received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fabien Barthez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Alisson Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Groom in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Damian Stonehouse dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alisson Goycochea, 1-2. After some careless play in the Egg Chasers FC defense, Lucas Head Son kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabien Barthez. The Egg Chasers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabien Barthez should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Head Son in the 89th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Alisson Goycochea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA from getting a goal against them.
