Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Stonehouse in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ritchie Roig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Bernat Laredo pulled a muscle in his leg after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Gudesteo Zabalo was substituted for Bernat Laredo. In the 11th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Attenborough to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Damian Stonehouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kenny Duckworth fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egg Chasers FC's protests and gave Kenny Duckworth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Duckworth to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Ritchie Roig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthew Brookman got free with Ritchie Roig in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Damian Stonehouse came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Egg Chasers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Stonehouse couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Groom came free, but Ritchie Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gudesteo Zabalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Gudesteo Zabalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabien Barthez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Stonehouse to make the kick off. With 53 minutes on the clock, Gabriel Cardeñosa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Clube Esportivo Saudade:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Egg Chasers FC:s goal. 54 minutes into the game, Kenny Duckworth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ritchie Roig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute Matthew Brookman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Clube Esportivo Saudade getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gudesteo Zabalo hit a great ball. The supporters of Clube Esportivo Saudade booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Duckworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Nacho Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Esportivo Saudade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacho Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ritchie Roig came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Joel Groom. But to his dismay, Joel Groom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ritchie Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Brookman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Ritchie Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Brookman in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Clube Esportivo Saudade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Marines to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Matthew Brookman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Duckworth. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Midas Arribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Rex Attenborough got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Clube Esportivo Saudade defense, Matthew Brookman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ritchie Roig. The Clube Esportivo Saudade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ritchie Roig should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Stonehouse in the 87th minute of play forced Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Ritchie Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ritchie Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Barone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Groom came free, but Ritchie Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Egg Chasers FC fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Egg Chasers FC had won after a very even match.
