When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Amadeo Hitzeder took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Omar Duardo to make any attempt to save it. If Nicolás Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Gmoch during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Julian Gmoch hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Nicolás Castillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrizio De Feo. ASD Real Molinella 1911's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolás Castillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Fabrizio De Feo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Alati in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalkeeper Fabrizio De Feo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Görkem Büyükada. But to his dismay, Domenico Alati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Jonas in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Görkem Büyükada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vancouver Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASD Real Molinella 1911 the free kick. After 64 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Görkem Büyükada. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Fabrizio De Feo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ASD Real Molinella 1911 from getting a goal against them. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Alati in the 73rd minute of play. Fabrizio De Feo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Görkem Büyükada sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, ASD Real Molinella 1911's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolás Castillo came free, but Fabrizio De Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Alati came free, but Omar Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Hitzeder in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Duardo saved Vancouver Reds from getting behind.
