The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godfredo Crescencio came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö. But to his dismay, Sixten Sjö quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Ronny Nilsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ermegildo Demesio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gil Garcia. Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Justino Montes lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Jonsereds IF a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronny Nilsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Godfredo Crescencio. 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Sixten Sjö had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Crescencio. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixten Sjö was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Kilstedt came free, but Godfredo Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Crescencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Sjö in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Hans Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Jonsereds IF defense, Bernardino Baumar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Garcia. The Jonsereds IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Garcia should have stopped the shot. Sixten Sjö kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Sixten Sjö scored 1-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Crescencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Humberto Gimeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Crescencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Kilstedt in the 46th minute of play.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Sixten Sjö recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Godfredo Crescencio. Sixten Sjö showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Sjö in the 71st minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Godfredo Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Jonsereds IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Sixten Sjö got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfredo Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Jonsereds IF's Hans Kilstedt fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gil Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Balendin in the 81st minute of the match. Sixten Sjö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Godfredo Crescencio made a huge save. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Godfredo Crescencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Acercate Y Patea de Lejos from getting a goal against them. Jordi Alba made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gerardo Balendin however managed to control. Gerardo Balendin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the match was over Jonsereds IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Acercate Y Patea de Lejos throughout the match.
