When Mehmet Bedri Sözmen came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Büyükada Commandos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Bedri Sözmen couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrew Miggiani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erdeniz Ankaralı. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. When Bircan Nazım fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Büyükada Commandos's protests and gave Bircan Nazım a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Bircan Nazım hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seraċini Għawdxin's Richard Pavia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Büyükada Commandos. Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Gerada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Bedri Sözmen in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Bedri Sözmen in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clayton Gerada saved Seraċini Għawdxin from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Andrew Miggiani made a precise shot to the right of Erdeniz Ankaralı. Büyükada Commandos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Büyükada Commandos's Bircan Nazım got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Bircan Nazım off the ground. After 33 played minutes Büyükada Commandos got a freekick which was hit by Bircan Nazım. In the 37th minute, Andrew Miggiani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erdeniz Ankaralı was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, Antoine Bugelli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erdeniz Ankaralı, 4-0. Antoine Bugelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdeniz Ankaralı having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Necdet Özaltın to make the kick off. Necdet Özaltın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the game, Seraċini Għawdxin's Andrew Miggiani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erdeniz Ankaralı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Erdeniz Ankaralı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Seychell went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Erdeniz Ankaralı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Seychell in the 71st minute of play. Erdeniz Ankaralı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Miggiani in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match, Necdet Özaltın tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clayton Gerada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Büyükada Commandos getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Necdet Özaltın hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match Seraċini Għawdxin got a corner. Büyükada Commandos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Richard Pavia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erdeniz Ankaralı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Pavia, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
