Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Lia in the 17th minute of play. German Lia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ermanno Cinalli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Zabulón Carabajal made a huge save. After 25 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Kemen. With a little luck, FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal got control of the ball when Korhan Türkol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Cole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Yom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Robbie Yom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klavertje Vier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zabulón Carabajal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korhan Türkol in the 35th minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Korhan Türkols short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Zabulón Carabajal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th minute German Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabulón Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claude Montens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dave Cole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korhan Türkol in the 44th minute of play. FC Klavertje Vier's Celedonio Kemen got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Klavertje Vier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Montens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute Korhan Türkol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabulón Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Georges-Philippe Jooris was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Klavertje Vier's players had a chance to rest. Joos Horemans hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korhan Türkol in the 87th minute of play. Dave Cole made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Kemen in the 91st minute. The ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s German Lia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 97 minutes of play, FC Klavertje Vier's Celedonio Kemen made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Cole was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
