A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bamsi Bonk hit a great ball. Ovidijus Andrišiūnas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergio Goycochea firmly grabbed it by the left post. Palle Paalgard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Hackspett U21's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Algitas Girkantas was slow to take the kick. During this time Absoliut's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Albinas Gudauskas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Hackspett U21's Sergio Goycochea did a great save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivar Brask was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Absoliut's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fred Ånger was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Hackspett U21's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Hackspett U21's corner Fred Ånger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vaclovas Jurkus quite easily take care of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Karol Mentis in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Absoliut's Henrikas Lisauskas. Algitas Girkantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Goycochea having to make a save. Sergio Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algitas Girkantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidijus Andrišiūnas in the 65th minute of play. Lars-Erik Klemensson charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars-Erik Klemensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Absoliut booed when FC Hackspett U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Klemensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Algitas Girkantas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Goycochea. FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ivar Brask could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Vaclovas Jurkus made a huge save. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Absoliut's goalkeeper Vaclovas Jurkus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Albinas Gudauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidijus Andrišiūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus got control of the ball when Ivar Brask tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Ovidijus Andrišiūnas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Goycochea. FC Hackspett U21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidijus Andrišiūnas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Vaclovas Jurkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palle Paalgard in the 91st minute of the match.
