In the 3rd minute Algitas Girkantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tufescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ovidijus Andrišiūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Zhu Liang Fei hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Algitas Girkantas came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Pricop's late challenge caught a Absoliut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Pricop helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Albert Pricop. The audience was convinced that Ovidijus Andrišiūnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Tufescu was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algitas Girkantas in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Tufescu saved FC MCM from getting behind. Vaclovas Jurkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amaury Hulsen in the 21st minute of the match. Haroldas Rimkevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Algitas Girkantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manuel Tufescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vaclovas Jurkus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amaury Hulsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Absoliut were furious when Alfonsas Račinskas was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 34th minute, one of Absoliut:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Absoliut. Ovidijus Andrišiūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When FC MCM's Amaury Hulsen in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Absoliut's goalie prevented a goal. Albinas Gudauskas made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC MCM's Olimpiu Şimoc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Pricop in the 45th minute of play forced Absoliut's goalkeeper Vaclovas Jurkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Absoliut booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Dragușin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Manuel Tufescu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ovidijus Andrišiūnas sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Amaury Hulsen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus. Vaclovas Jurkus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When FC MCM's Albert Pricop in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Absoliut's goalie prevented a goal. Ovidijus Andrišiūnas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Tufescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Ovidijus Andrišiūnas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Tufescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ovidijus Andrišiūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC MCM made a substitution. Virgil Cârnațiu replaced Olimpiu Şimoc. In the 70th minute, Shen Jian Song ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vaclovas Jurkus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 74th minute Shen Jian Song shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaclovas Jurkus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shen Jian Song took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaclovas Jurkus. Vaclovas Jurkus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 82nd minute Albert Pricop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaclovas Jurkus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Osvaldas Nutautas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corneliu Dragușin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Absoliut's Ovidijus Andrišiūnas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Tufescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Absoliut players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC MCM.
